Blue Bloods Season 14B will not premiere in September 2024

While we’re not ready to see Blue Bloods come to an end, we are ready for more new episodes. There’s a wait on our hands for the return of the series.

The Reagan family dinner scenes really make our Friday nights feel like Fridays, and that means we need more Blue Bloods. The downside is that getting more of the show means that we’re closer to the end, and that we’re not ready for.

There is still a fight to keep this series on the air. We would have loved to see CBS U-turn on the Blue Bloods cancellation in the way that it U-turned on SWAT. That’s not happened yet, but there are talks of a spin-off series, and we’ll watch that!

But for now, the focus is on when the new episodes of the family cop drama is coming back to our screens. In some terrible news, it’s not happening in September, despite that usually being when the fall shows return.

Blue Bloods Season 14B will premiere in October

Instead, we need to wait until October for the CBS premieres. Blue Bloods Season 14B will premiere on Friday, Oct. 18. It will air at 10 p.m. ET/PT as usual, following premieres of SWAT and Fire Country.

There are a few things that we would like to see in the final episodes, and one of those is the return of Jack. Tony Terraciano’s character hasn’t been seen much since Season 10, with the character heading off to college. Surely, we need to see him back at least once before the end of the series.

There are a few other characters we would love to see back again, even if it’s just for an episode. CBS likes to stay quiet about a few returning faces, and we’re sure to see that until the promotional material for individual episodes comes out to get us to tune in.

There is a chance that we’ll see Tess, played by Simone Policano, again. She’s become like a daughter to Frank due to Frank’s relationship with her father, Lenny, played by the late Treat Williams. There was a tribute moment to Treat in Blue Bloods Season 14A, and it would be good to catch up with Tess after all of that before the end of the series.
