Remember when Rachel Green tried making an English Trifle with a layer of jam, beef, onion and peas and whipped cream? Well the disastrous dish has now been recreated by one of the most famous dessert brands
We’re all still haunted by Rachel Green’s failed attempt to make an English Trifle for dessert.
In the iconic Friends episode, the ditzy character, played by Jennifer Aniston, accidentally created a culinary disaster after making a Shepherd’s Pie X Trifle hybrid. “First, there’s a layer of ladyfingers, then jam, custard, raspberries, more ladyfingers, beef sauteed with peas and onions, more custard, bananas and whipped cream,” she explained to the gang, who wolfed down the pudding out of politeness (or threw it off the balcony)
Krispy Kreme is releasing a new range of Friends-inspired doughnuts that will drop later this month. Customers will soon be able to choose from the ‘We Were on a Coffee Break’, which features a caffe latte flavour icing, chocolate swirl, frosting, and a white chocolate topper – as well as the mango and passionfruit flavoured ‘How You Doin?’ doughnut.

Another declared:” Ah oh my god. I can’t wait.” A third added: “These look so good.” While a fourth joked: “You forgot to add beef and onion in a trifle doughnut.”
