THE cast of Friends plan to reunite at the Emmy Awards to pay tribute to Matthew Perry.
Stars of the cult sitcom are hoping to share their memories of their late co-star on stage in January.
They want to give him the send-off he “rightfully deserves”.
An insider said: “When it comes to Matthew’s death, emotions are still running high and it is still a very touchy situation. The cast want to honour him publicly at some point.
“They would all love to get together on stage to speak about him . . . telling the world about the man he was in real life.”
The insider said there had been “rumblings” the meet up would be at the Emmys in LA if they can get his family’s blessing.
Perry, 54, who played Chandler in Friends, was found dead in his hot tub on October 28.
He was laid to rest six days later — with co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow all paying tribute.
His cause of death was “deferred” after tests found no methamphetamine or fentanyl in his system.
