Ross Kemp Talks Grant Mitchell’s Possible Return to EastEnders–Fans are Buzzing! EastEnders spoilers
EastEnders fans are buzzing with excitement as rumors swirl about the potential return of Grant Mitchell. In a recent interview, Ross Kemp, the actor who famously portrayed the iconic character, addressed the speculation.
Kemp, who first appeared in Walford in 1990, left the soap in 1999. He made brief returns in 2005 and 2006 before his final appearance in 2016. With EastEnders celebrating its 40th anniversary, fans have been eagerly hoping for a grand Mitchell reunion.
When asked about the rumors of his return, Kemp remained coy, stating, “I can’t tell you anything.” However, he expressed his immense pride in the show and acknowledged the significant role it played in his career. “I wouldn’t have had a career without it,” he said.
Kemp’s last appearance in Walford saw the tragic death of his mother, Peggy Mitchell. Fans have been longing for a reunion between Grant and his brother, Phil, and executive producer Chris Cl Shaw has hinted at the possibility of bringing Grant back for more brotherly drama.
While Kemp hasn’t ruled out a return, he has been busy with other projects. Nevertheless, his ambiguous response has kept fans hopeful that Grant Mitchell may once again grace the streets of Albert Square.
