The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, July 1 tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) asks Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) to answer some lingering questions he has about Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
Cane is Damian’s former boss, but he was like a shroom during that time—kept in the dark and fed you know what.
Damian only knew what Cane wanted him to know, and that wasn’t very much. There was a time when Cane masqueraded as Aristotle Dumas, and had Damian run his companies for him. Those days are over but Nick still sees an opportunity to pump the former employee for info.
After all, Nick senses that Cane is up to no good and he desperately wants to protect the Newmans from any surprises.
Amanda is Cane’s Henchwoman
In Nice, the guests notice that Cane is missing and his right-hand Gal Friday, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), tries to keep the mob at bay.
Where is Cane if the storm has stranded everyone on Fantasy Island? That’s a very good question and one that has a sinister answer.
You see, Cane is not playing nice in Nice!
Cane makes a two-day trip back to Genoa City and meets with unfired Holden Novak (Nathan Owens). Unbeknownst to the guests, these two have been buying up locales near Newman, Jabot and Chancellor.

During the meeting, Holden assures Cane that he is doing his dirty work behind the scenes, just like Damian once did!
Elsewhere, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) corners Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson
Sally thinks that Billy isn’t making Abbott Communications the priority and wants to make sure her future is secure—smart cookie.
Billy says that he will make it official with paperwork, but the chaos may just be starting. Maybe it’s best that Sally not relax yet, as spoilers hint there is much more shock and awe coming up for our GC crew.
Things are about to get sticky for Victor, Nikki, Sally, Billy and all the others the longer they are under Cane’s thumb—how can this end well?!
