An unexpected deal comes to fruition, while someone pushes their ex’s buttons, and a character is forced to take sides. What’s set to unravel during Friday’s show? Time to find out!
The Moustache Strikes An Unexpected Deal
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, August 8, hint that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will strike an unexpected deal. (Make sure to check out our Weekly Y&R spoilers, here!)
This is interesting as during the closing moments of the Thursday, August 7 episode, The Moustache called up Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) for an impromptu meeting. Will Victor align himself with Cane to throw The Abbotts and Jabot under the bus?
As much as Victor can’t stand Cane, he can’t stand the Abbotts that much more! Then again, he was also just planning to get Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to gather intel by getting closer to Cane. Victor could be playing both sides to the middle.

Phyllis Summers Pokes At Billy Abbott
Across town, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will push Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) buttons. While Billy seemed to be on the fence where working with Cane was concerned, after a conversation with Victor this week, it also looked like he had changed his tune.
How will Phyllis poke at Billy? Could this banter be something that brings them closer to a reunion?
Chelsea Lawson Is Forced To Choose A Side
Finally, The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday indicate that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will be forced to take a side. Is this about Newman Media and Victor’s need to run that bad piece on Billy?
Chelsea has been adamant about not throwing her ex under the bus, but at the end of the day, Victor owns Newman, which owns Newman Media, so Chelsea will need to draw a line in the sand.
With that said, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is happy that he and his ‘pops’ are finally getting along. Will Chelsea jeopardize this harmony by digging her heels in at work?
