The end of an era is almost underway with the fourteenth and final season of Blue Bloods premiering on Friday, February 16. After the conclusion of season 13, this premiere is a bittersweet moment for Blue Bloods fans, as there are so many storylines to expand upon, along with the knowledge that there are only 18 episodes left to unveil it all.

While Blue Bloods fans come to terms with this reality, we’re fortunate enough to have a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of the Season 14 premiere. (Check out the pictures, below!)

CBS provides this description of the final episode, “Loyalty”: “Jaime goes undercover with a deadly human trafficking ring and Danny and Baez investigate a homicide connected to Darryl Reid (Malika Yoba), Danny’s old partner. Also, Frank grapples with whether to publicly support Mayor Chase (Dylan Walsh) on a policy decision and Eddie is determined to teach a young shoplifter a lesson.”

This, of course, leaves us with a few questions: Namely, where’s Erin and what’s up with Danny’s old partner, Jackie Curatola? After a comeback in the season 13 finale, many Blue Bloods fans couldn’t help but wonder if she and Danny are finally going to get their shot at love in the final season of the series.

Here’s the good news: Friday, February 16 marks part one of a two-part premiere, with part two airing on Friday, February 23. Thereafter, new episodes of Blue Bloods will air every Friday on CBS, with streaming on Paramount+. All past episodes and seasons can be watched on the streaming app, as well.
